Dallas-Fort Worth is the second-best metro for women-owned businesses in the United States, according to a new report from Wells Fargo & Co.
The ranking by the San Francisco-based bank was based on “the economic clout of women-owned businesses” using criteria including the number of such businesses as well as their share of employment and revenue from 2019 to 2023.
DFW ranked No. 11 for growth in the number of women-owned firms and was in the top five for employment growth. Exact figures were not disclosed.
